You may register for classes at the shop, at any time. If you have any questions, please call the store at (570) 474-6542. Please note that there is a social Sit ‘N Knit every Wednesday evening, beginning at 6pm. Knit A' Long's may be scheduled at any time. If there is a project you are interested in, please let us know as there may be others intersted in the same project!!

ELIZABETH ZIMMERMAN'S FEBRUARY BABY SWEATER: FEBRUARY 6, 13, 20 (SATURDAYS) 10:00-11:30 CLASS FEE: $50 - includes the book, "Knitter's Almanac". If you already own the book, your class fee will be adjusted!
CLASS PROJECT: Elizabeth Zimmerman's "Baby Sweater on Two Needles; Practically Seamless", which can be found in the book, "Knitters Almanac". This lacy top-down baby sweater was the inspiration for the very popular "February Lady Sweater". What you learn making the "baby" size will easily translate to the women's sweater. Advanced beginner to intermediate skills are required. We will talk a lot about Elizabeth Zimmerman and her impact on knitting in America. This project is also a good first lace project. CROCHET FOR KNITTERS FEBRUARY 20 (SATURDAY) 1:00 - 2:30 CLASS FEE: $15
CLASS PROJECT: There is no class project. You will have a little homework: to knit a couple of squares. No previous crochet experience is necessary. You will learn some of the functional (seaming & button loops) as well as the decorative ways to add crochet to your knitting.

ENTRELAC POUCH MARCH 6, 13 & 20 (SATURDAYS) 10:00 - 12:00 CLASS FEE: $45
CLASS PROJECT: "Felted Entrelac Pouch" from the Skill Builder Pattern by Gwen Bortner. You must have advanced beginner knitting skills including how to knit, purl, increase and decrease. Sample and materials list is available at Cozy Cabin.

STRANDED FAIR ISLE CLASS APRIL 10 & 17 (SATURDAYS) 10:00 - 11:30 CLASS FEE: $25
CLASS PROJECT: Small Fair Isle Purse. This class will focus on "stranded" or "two-handed" Fair Isle technique. Basic knitting skills are required and a willingness to try knitting with the "other hand". You will be amazed at how much fun color work can be! MOSAIC KNITTING APRIL 17TH (SATURDAY) 1:00 - 2:30 CLASS FEE: $15 Sample and materials list will be available shortly.
